Police Investigate Suspicious Man Lurking In Westchester Backyard

A local resident received a scare when she spotted a man lurking in her backyard before he hopped a fence into a neighbor’s yard, police said.

The resident of Meadowbrook Lane in Mount Kisco alerted Westchester County Police investigators on Tuesday, Jan. 8, that the previous night, she observed a man in her backyard at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Police said that the resident reported that the suspicious man proceeded to climb over her fence into her neighbor’s property when a dog began barking at him. Investigators said that the man was near a shed on her property, but the homeowner stated that nothing had been stolen.

The incident remains under investigation.
